About the Opportunity

This general contractor has built exceptional projects across California since 1998, including some of the state's largest and most well-known private residential estates. The Senior Project Manager leads high-value custom builds for the GC division from preconstruction through closeout.

Role Summary

Lead large private residential estates for a builder behind some of California's best-known custom homes.

Key Outcomes
  • Own the outcome on the flagship project: budget, schedule, and a finished home the client and architect are proud of.
  • Keep money and time honest through disciplined buyout, change management, and monthly forecasts that hold to the contract.
  • Set the standard the trades build to, so millwork, stone, and finishes land at the level these clients expect.
  • Protect the client and architect relationship with clear, no-surprise communication.
  • Develop the assistant PMs and engineers under you into the firm's next project leaders.
  • Close out clean: punch, warranty, and a client who would build with the firm again.
What You'll Bring
  • Ten-plus years managing high-end residential or comparable custom construction.
  • A record owning multimillion-dollar homes from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Fluency with luxury finishes, long-lead procurement, and demanding architects and clients.
  • The judgment to lead a team and the communication to keep clients calm.
