Role Summary

Own preconstruction estimates, reporting to the Director of Preconstruction, on custom Bay Area homes.

  • Own accurate, competitive numbers that win the right work at a margin the firm can build to.
  • Turn architectural drawings into complete, defensible scopes with no gaps for the field to absorb.
  • Build and hold the trade relationships that produce real pricing on luxury scopes, not guesses.
  • Lead buyout so the estimate and the executed contracts line up.
  • Flag design and constructability risk early, while it is still cheap to solve.
  • Give leadership the cost intelligence to bid selectively and profitably.

Compensation and Benefits

Target compensation: $140k–$170k, depending on experience. A full benefits package, detailed in a first conversation.
