Role Summary

The Estimator turns architectural plans, details, and specifications into accurate estimates and proposals, and stays with the work through scope revisions and change orders. They communicate with the project team, raise problems early, and help solve them.

Key Outcomes
  • Estimates rest on a firm read of architectural plans, details, and specifications, including the ability to see a three-dimensional building from two-dimensional data.
  • Proposals are prepared accurately, and the Estimator takes part in client presentations with confidence.
  • RFIs and submittals move through a managed process.
