Human Resources Director
For over 35 years, Cello & Maudru Construction has been a leading general contractor in the Bay Area, specializing in custom residential and commercial projects, including luxury homes, estates, wineries, and resorts. Currently, they are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and develop their human resources function, with expertise in recruiting, training, performance management, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional people skills, able to balance compliance with a people-focused approach and develop comprehensive HR systems across all organizational levels. This position is critical for supporting the company’s main strategic goal of cultivating their people and developing the next level of leadership within the organization.
Hard Skills
- Comprehensive HR expertise: recruiting, training, performance management, employee relations, and policy development
- Skill in developing HR systems and processes across all organizational levels
- Ability to create strategic career paths, training programs, and performance management systems
- Experience in strategic recruiting aligned with business needs and cycles
- Knowledge of California employment laws and regulations
- Preferably experienced in construction industry HR challenges
