About the Opportunity

This is a proactive strategic hire focused on strengthening and evolving the preconstruction team. This is not an urgent backfill driven by workload, but an investment in the future. Beyond estimating, the organization is seeking a team member who aligns with its vision, helps mentor others, and may ultimately grow into leadership.

Client interaction and collaboration with design teams are central to this role.

What you’ll do

• Deliver accurate, fair, and insightful cost estimates across all project phases.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Champion continuous improvement of internal preconstruction processes and systems.
• Collaborate actively with clients, architects, and internal teams.
• Develop preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction budgets.
• Offer creative cost-saving and quality-enhancing solutions.
• Generate project schedules that guide projects from design through construction.
• Perform constructability reviews to reduce changes and risks.
• Consult on building system designs, fostering smarter, better builds.

What you Bring

• Experience: 3+ years of construction estimating experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Technical Proficiency

• CMiC or similar project management tools
• Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling software
• Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
• Destini or equivalent estimating software
• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks preferred

Work Environment & Flexibility

• Primarily office-based with occasional site visits

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $130,000 to $160,000 DOE
