The Heart Of An Ally

Most everyone has had a someone take advantage of them in business. It is rampant. The courts are intended to curtail misdeeds but sometimes (perhaps most times) it is too cost, both emotionally and financially. So, they get away with it. But it’s not really a win. The willingness to compromise to win while a business partner loses gives fleeting and deceptive benefit. Word gets around. Astute people carefully avoid. Opportunities shrivel.

An important element of our business philosophy is to be an “ally”. It’s a filter we work our decisions through. Is this something an ally would do? How can we best serve our alliances? How can we improve the condition of our client? How can we improve people’s lives? How can we add value, regardless of the reward. We have that attitude and seek fellow companies who share it.

Doing business with allies is productive and enjoyable. Be an ally to those you work with. Employees, clients, subcontractors, and government authorities. Help them help you.
