Interviewing people well is not about following a formula, it’s about building respect, getting to know them, understanding and setting expectations, and establishing performance standards.
At some point we got confused that interviewing is about a legalistic process, forgetting that it is ultimately two (or more) people building a relationship. Even business building robots run on relationships.
Interview according to your culture and personality, just make it a disciplined and responsible process, whatever it is.
